Itinerary Details
Day 1: Scenic drive to Pattale
- Travel hours: 10 hours
- Altitude: 2,840 m
- Activities: After breakfast, depart from Kathmandu in a private vehicle. The drive follows the Sunkoshi River and joins the Tama Koshi River until reaching Ghurmi. After lunch, continue through a deep rhododendron forest, passing settlement areas before arriving in Dhap for a short break. Continue to Pattale Danda.
- Route Highlights: Finest view of Mount Everest, hills turn red in April due to rhododendron blossoms, and white in winter due to snowfall.

Day 2: Trek to Jhapre
- Trek hours: 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 2,820 m
- Trek Highlights: Rise before dawn to witness the sunrise turning the White Mountains golden. After breakfast, start trekking from a ridgeline south of Pattale, approaching Sigane with vistas of the Number Himalayan Range. Walk along bumpy roads to Jhapre, positioned atop a deep valley with spectacular views of Everest and Numbur Himal.

Day 3: Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp
- Trek hours: 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 3,640 m
- Trek Highlights: Capture the first ray of sun hitting the Himalayan peaks. The trail ascends to Bhulbhule's grassy ridge, offering views of the Everest range. The trail becomes steeper from Lhamuje, passing rhododendron forests, village areas, and grasslands with grazing yaks. After 2 hours from the forest, reach Pikey Peak Base Camp.

Day 4: Pikey Peak summit & trek to Junbesi
- Trek hours: 7-8 hours

- Trek Highlights: Start before dawn to catch the sunrise from the summit of Pikey Peak. Enjoy views of Mt. Everest, Number Chuli, Thamserku, Kangtega, Khatang, Kanchenjunga, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, and Langtang. Descend back to Junbesi, passing by Lamjura La.
